New Gearbox

Hi Your G' was built in 1993.. Red in colour and the gearbox is a standard 5 speed manual by Getrag part number 717-435 or 439 or 445 . I have one used only 10.000miles ..removed after vehicle damaged in accident.... yours for GBP 400 plus packing.....shipping to your account. full payment against forwarding agents certificate of receipt ....price for a 461 in Sudan!!! you would have better local knowledge of value and condition.....

Hi could be reverse gear shaft bearing caused if driven with low or wrong oil ..oil should be ATF auto transmission fluid.. Hypoid 90 causes extreme pressure and may damage the front seal and then oil leaks into the bellhousing....there cannot be many G's in the Sudan..not even built when I lived in Khartoum 1961-67.... I think the Mercedes agent at that time was Mitchell Cotts or Gellatly Hankey.....so the price is what you are prepared to pay!!! door cards and seats are the same as the 460 series.. they can be bought as a set "used and clean" but very difficult to ship economically....***according to the export information relating to the Vin Number you sent me this G' was originally given as a gift to one of the humanitarian societies in Sudan.......
