I have left today my G at the port in Santa Cruz for its comeback to Madrid via Seville, where i shall be picking it up on Saturday after next. It is a shame that I wasn't using it at all in Tenerife, where it has never been offroad while I had to be driven in others' Gs during our outings in the Spanish mainland...

It will be time now to prepare it for the next offroading season, now that the current one is all but over....

Re: Coming home

Is that a German diesel car next to your G?

Sorry but looked like a bloody KIA to me.

Half of the Canarian population is German anyway :D so maybe they imported the KIA from their homeland...

Re: Coming home

Hi everybody! We left Colmenar @ 6:00 AM and arrived in Seville at 10:45. Swapped cars and we are now on our way back to Madrid. To our astonishment we crossed with a UK-reg RHD G driving south some 30 Kms south of Merida. I think that it was a dark green 460, fitted with a roof rack and a snorkel. And he waved at us!

It was me with a Tenere behind on our way south - I recognised you instantly.

Hooray! What a coincidence!

I was sure that it had to be somebody from the GWOA!

I was so surprised that I missed the waving! Hope you saw my smile! :D

We saw a total of five Gs on the day, including yours.

Well I had worked out that you would be on the same road as us but had no idea of our times - It would of been good to meet up. Maybe on the way back, if we come back
