On boxing day I spent the day with a group of G-Wagen enthusiasts in an off-road route around Cuéllar, in Segovia, some 100 miles north of Madrid (in Spain, not in Santa Fé, New Mexico or in Iowa) . In more than 100 miles off-road we did not see a car and only a few people hunting. These lands is where David Lean's Dr. Zhivago was filmed and we were lucky enough to be blessed with the same snow that you see surrounding Omar Shariff's figure in the film.

This is a small selection of the pictures taken in the day, which I will be posting soon for your enjoyment!

Looks like an excellent day.............unless you happen to be unfortunate enough to have a Ford Explorer

Thanks for sharing them with us, keep them coming.

Now I can see them.
How does the winch work with the number plate infront of it, do you remove the plate it looks like the cable would foul on it. Pic no. 3

I am told that the license plate has custom-made holder which allows it to turn 180º so that the cable does not foul the plate.

Cheers
