We do

This vehicle, K2TFL is owned by Thriplow Farms Ltd. We own two other G-wagens, making a total of three in all.

Oliver,
Could you not bear to part with the G400CDI then ?or was there nothing better out there?

The sad fate of my Brabus 400CDI

My son and his friend, en route back from France where they had been taking part in a fund-raising run for the Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital, were driving back down the M11 late one night at about 75mph. Out of the blackness appeared a lorry wheel which hit the G Wagen smack in the centre of the radiator. It made a vast gash in the front of the car, set off all the airbags but son and friend were totally unscathed. The damage looked at first sight to be relatively superficial but on closer inspection the vehicle may well need a new engine, certainly needs a new chassis and as a result the insurance company have written it off.

Anyone who is interested should, I suppose, phone the insurance company (the NFU Mutual) and speak to Jerry Risebrow on 01954-213836.

In the meanwhile I have gone over to Germany and have bought myself yet another G400CDI. This is my seventh G-Wagen.
