Hi. Hi. I am trying to buy a 4-tube (or 4-row) radiator for my 1984 280GE. This would be a larger capacity radiator than the 3-row version that is standard in my G. I have been asking elsewhere for suggestions for vendors to contact, but here on this forum, I would just like to ask if anyone has a parts list that would indicate the part no. that I need.

I noticedon this forum that there's a website ("On line Parts Prices in Germany", by 'Sticky') to look up parts, but I don't have a part no. to search for it. So if I had such a part no., I think it would make my search a little easier.

I would appreciate hearing from anyone who can help. I can be e-mailed at KenAC@att.net, and I welcome all attempts and suggestions.
Thank you all for your help.
Ken Crossner

Note: I am in the U.S., and since this is a "grey-market" (individually imported) vehicle, it's hard to get parts here. My G's specifications:
1984 280GE (W460 with M110 engine)
Automatic Transmission
Air Conditioning
VIN 46023317032550

I would expect the part to be expensive. Why dont you go to a radiator repairer who can make your exisitng radiator into a 4 core instead.

That's my plan B :-)

My preference is for original (optional, indeed, but properly made) equipment. But, if I'm unable to find the part, certainly a modification by a radiator shop is my back-up plan.
Thanks.

Here are some part numbers, though I can't tell which is 3-row or 4-row:
A4605005003
A4605001203
A0015010501
All three are listed under your vehicle's chassis number - the first two with the aircon.
The third you can tell is a special part by the part number alone so is probably what you're looking for - availability and price is another issue though.
I'd be inclined to rather spend the money on a top-quality brand-name aftermarket custom-made item(ally) and you'll still walk away with less money spent...
