Looking for a SWB Diesel Auto - not as common as you may think it seems!!

1 option is a total rebuild of an oldie for sale at Cavershams'

Hoping someone on this Forum has visited said establishment and got to see her in the flesh. Hence my posting in " G - SPOTTING"

Any thoughts? Don't feel that you have to be polite.

This should hopefully get you to the advert:

No, I mean it has been sat there for more than a year... :? Ok, it's yellow but a colour change is no big deal on these vehicles...

It is a model for which there is a fair market in the UK, yet in all this time it hasn't sold...!?!?! That together with the prospect of dealing with Mr Max.......whatever  , means I for one wouldn't be going near it...!!!!!
Caveat emptor is of the essence here....

See this link and many others here and elsewhere on the web:[url]http://www.gwoa.co.uk/node/]

Best of Luck!

I have seen it, I didn't get any closer than that pic though as I thought it was a parts car. It is stored out in a field with a bunch of other Gs as you can see from the pic.

When flicking thru an Exchange + Mart last week i'm sure Caversham had an ad' running along the lines of "we have too many pre 1990 G's so come make us an offer" which i thought was interesting - if it's been there for a year offer some book tokens
maybe comments from this forum are starting to get thru - we know they are read......

Yes indeed that should be about right re the book tokens,
as following on from my post yesterday re a phonecall to M-- Max McArrogant of Caversham I was informed that my 1989 460 offered as a trade-in was virtually worthless
& that they ( Caversham ) were for clearing all pre 1991 stock out at very low prices -- strangly though that wasnt reflected in the prices on their website,-- at that time anyway
