Hi,

After a lot of searching I have finally got my first G. It's a 460 (1989) 280GE SWB in silver. It needs a lot of TLC to get it up to scratch but the engine and bodywork is sound, apart from rust bubbles on the rear tailgate.

This forum has already been a great source of info and I have a meet set up with Mortinson at the weekend to get some bits and have a 'G'eneral chat.

By the way, I live in Purley, near Croydon and often see G's around this way.

Re: New owner

Hello there and welcome,

I am currently searching for my first G, I should hopefully have it soon!

The silver will be nice, you should post some pics when you get time.

I never see G's where I live (Hornchurch, Essex) I've only actually seen four this year, part of the reason I want one as they are so rare.

They need to be hosted on the net, then type:

Hope that makes sense! If you need free image hosting try photobucket.com

Ah ah.

I know how to insert an image, its just where to host the photos. I used to be on the Lexus forum which had a photo gallery for uploading pictures.

Anyway, I have a photobox account so here goes....
