When I get my G I want to put on some massive drug-dealer/gangsta wheels, something like this:
Has anyone done anything like this already and where did they get their wheels?

This is a free country but don't complain when your wheel bearings last only for a couple of weeks.... and that without counting the vibration and the premature perishing of the steering damper!

If it's looks you go for then it's down to personal taste but I think they look better with smaller wheels and big monster truck tyres. :wink:

Having received some startling quotes for rubber on my new G500 wheels though, the old 15" are starting to look good again!,
Shudder to think what the above elastic bands would cost!

I don't care if you old men hate my idea, I know there are thousands out there that will love it!
As it'll be a second car for me the thought of spending a few hundred on tyres doesn't bother me as I won't be doing that many miles anyway. Plus I'd rather spend my money on tyres for a G than bodykits/engine mods for my GTI that I've just sold!
Ive just realised that G wagen is outside west coast customs, they are on MTV channel 440 on a show called PIMP MY RIDE, worth a view. but going back to the wheels and west coast customs, nuff said geezz, later bro.

The best programme on TV! My G is gonna be completely pimped out! I saw one episode where they put a sink in the back of the truck, reckon that's do-able and I wanna be the first G with Lamborghini doors.
