My window motors are slow

Its not the wiring or the mechanism its just the motors are tired. Are the motor part numbers bosche 0130821070 and is the other 0130821069

Its the one ending in 69 that i am not sure about. Are these the right numbers and has anyone swapped the motors before

Bosch may sell motor separately, MB only sell complete regulator? Think Arnie posted link with a French 4x4 place offering whole thing £180?? But that sounds too cheap

my drivers slow , passenger really good, annoying as sided..

Re: g wagon 463 window motors

Hi jason

My drivers was a bit slow but passenger perfectly fine but its not so good now

I have checked voltage and current as my heated mirror also became poor

Its a coincidence i think as window is free and smooth but i have been using it a lot lately so perhaps its getting tired after 26 years of service

The mirror bit is bugging me though. earths and all else is just fine

So my list is getting bigger. Sunroof fails to park. Rear washer does not work. Mirror ns is slow to de frost

drivers window is getting slower. This summer i will sort the lot

My heated mirrors really toasty, unsure what decides the temperature they switch on? Patrol doesn't have such luxury but heated rear window does work. G one never has....

I thought that switching on the heated rear window also switched on the heated mirrors???

Don't think so? Some sort of thermostat controls them, try putting your hand on mirror glass, when about 5 degrees or below, marvellous hand warmers

I had a similar problem. I don't think the motors run slower because they are tired. It has more to do with the way the glass goes up and down and the associated friction. First thing to check  if the glass panel runs true and is not misaligned; also if you need to apply some grease on the moving parts

Re: g wagon 463 window motors

Hi

I have checked them and all seems good and slides fine. If you hold the gear on motor its easy to stop by hand almost. So ive ordered 2 new motors. I tested the resistance and it is drawing a lot more amps than i would expect to see

I tried holding the window up while moving the switch in the down position and it was still the same.so this eliminates the runners etc. Took motor off and the glass slides smoothly with ease up and down

It used to work so sweet but i have been using my g wagon a lot so i think i have finished the motor off

Ordered 4 so i have some spares as these are really expensive. So if they fit fine and are good i have 2 spares at the right money if anyone needs any. My supplier always gets a good discount as they sell a lot of parts a week
