How much are they likely to cost? If you want the modular type, look at the G in my avatar. Those are 15x8in modulars made by Mangels. Same people who make the LR ones. Proven to be of excellent quality and design. I am desperately after another set or two, but after trying so many times to get something out of the factory itself without sucess, I may get a set of adaptors if they're not too dear. Pity though as the modulars are only 50-odd quid new per wheel. Another option would be if we as a club(and with enough takers) approach Mangels with a firm order to make us a batch. Maybe then they'll keep them as running product line.
Anyone on here with Brazilian connections/contacts who can help?

Why would you want such big wheels in a 230? Too much rubber for so little meat!

Beware the fly by wire throttle if things get wet and the sprinter gearbox is a bad bad joke

I once considered this option, but having owned a sprinter and its problems decided against it.

But then the 290gdt is highly rated, so you may be in luck if you find a good low-mileage unit/set.

Are you going to have them made out of steel - stainless maybe?
And have you got an idea of cost yet?

I will definately get a set as the mangels issue is a dead-end road.

disagree up to 1995 synchro on 1st and 2nd would be an issue, but had many sprinters from 97 on wards and could not fault them, although when cold 1st to 2nd would be a little stiff.

Re: Wheel adaptors

I looked into mach 5's but there is a 6 week delay and i dont like the look of them, i expect the spacers are going to be around £50 a corner. but on the plus side aftermarket landy rims are £30 each..
